22-mth

Borne on 22 February 2007, ViVi is 22-month today!

I’m not sure how other parents’ feel, but I feel that time flies with a baby in a family; maybe we calculate their “age” by months not by years, therefore, every month passed by without notice.

My baby is 22-month old, but I feel that I did not take up full responsibility as a mother – she is with my mother, her granny almost all the time. I feel guilty especially my mom is not well.

My mom is a strong woman maybe that is why we don’t know how to show our love & care to her.

However, with ViVi around her, on the other hand, I think my mom is happy because ViVi is the baby with lots of funny actions and expressions.

Wish my mom will be healthy after all these treatments & medicines!!!

Presents from Papa

Papa went for company trip to Bali last Sunday. All aunties (mommy's friends) were surprised that Papa's company still having trips for staff under such economy crisis.

Actually the staff got lucky as the trip are pre-book early the year (for cheap airfare), the company will loss more if cancelling the trip.

So, Papa got back home this morning and got some presents for ViVi.

吐、拉、拉

貝比上週出現嘔吐和腹瀉狀況，幸而嘔吐不嚴重，第二天就沒有再發生，但是拉肚子有2、3天，真是令人擔心。

看了醫生吃了藥，雖然腹瀉好轉了，屁股週圍的皮膚卻因為敏感而紅紅一片。

貝比應該是遺傳了媽媽的皮膚過敏，真糟糕！我該怎麼辦？

21-mth

Baby ViVi is 21-month today!

Soon she will be alone with granny since her little cousin sister is going to attend primary school in mid December.

However, it is a good thing for both ViVi and granny because these 2 kids already started to fight for toys & books long time ago.

Granny noticed that both like to grab others' stuff in hand and when it happened, for sure one of them will start to shout & cry. Yes, mommy had to admit that ViVi is very loud when shouting :p

Anyway, which kid doesn't fight for toys? Just hope they will learn to tolerate & share.

update of ViVi

ViVi is going to be 21-mth in 2 more weeks, mommy forgot to update a lot of things happened over the month.

When she reached 20th month, ViVi will “tell” when she wants to pee and granny can save some energy on washing her diapers everyday. This is a great progress!

She likes to eat meat… (I think most babies & kids love meat)… :p During dinner time, when she saw her older cousin eating rice, she will hold granny’s hand and drag granny to kitchen. She wants to eat rice too!


ViVi likes to eat banana, apple, yogurt, cake, bread, marjarine, fish oil and vitamin tablets.

The worst part is, she hates vegetables. So I have to add in various vegetables in her porriage. Recently, she rejects her milk again! Over the past 20 months, this situation happened a few times, I think she might be bored with milk again! (Hopefully the milk-phobia ended soon! :p)

ViVi “talks” a lot and nobody understand her baby language; she will hold a book and “read” between the lines. She will jump up and down when mommy & daddy show up at night.

Singing & dancing still the favorite activity of my baby ViVi.

Mommy is waiting for ViVi to talk. How it would be when my little angel starts talking to mee!?

20-month

ViVi is 20-month today!

As time goes by, I still can’t believe my baby is growing so quick!

She was a tiny little baby when she is borne and look at her right now, she’s just like a little lady.

成長

轉眼間，貝比就快要滿20個月了。到現在，我還很回味懷著貝比的那段日子，帶著錯綜複雜的心情和感覺，當然，必然有愉快和期待。

寫網誌是想為貝比的成長作一個記錄，有一天，她可以看到自己的從前。

最近，貝比的語言能力大有進步，除了老早學會的媽媽、Apple、爸爸、姐姐、bus、bird，開始學習叫公公、婆婆、哥哥、banana、five，還會自言自語，說些沒有人聽得懂的baby話。

有時，她還會對著二舅「嘰嘰咕咕」、「咿咿呀呀」，好像在進行對話一樣，可是舅舅是一句話都聽不懂。

前兩天，貝比又有新搞作了，她對著爸爸「邊唱歌、邊拍手」，逗得爸爸心花怒放。而大部份時候，她都會跟著音樂邊唱邊跳，唔，會不會是因為媽媽在懷著貝比時，曾數次到卡拉OK高歌影響了貝比呢？（:p)

貝比每一天都有不同的舉動，媽媽寫的成長記錄似乎跟不上了！

第二次踏浪

趁著公共假期，加上公公70歲大壽將近，爸爸帶了媽媽和ViVi回鄉，準備為公公慶祝一番。

怎知道二伯一家人沒有回家，人丁單薄，慶祝計劃只好縮減成出外晚餐。向婆婆提出時，她又覺得很花錢，結果變成在家吃飯，再加我們買的紅酒和蛋糕，有點草草了事的感覺。（心意搭夠囉，感覺上公公很開心！）

更搞笑的是公公的生日原來不是10月4日，而是7月1日。身份證上的只是登記的日期，而且還是回曆的10月4日，家長當時為何會根據回曆來登記，真的搞不清楚。

愛吃的ViVi對蛋糕虎視眈眈，像不像在作指揮，叫阿公快快給她一塊蛋糕吃呢？站在後面的是小叔叔。

記得上一回到海邊，ViVi玩得不願回家，這次當然要抽空到海邊一趟。這次也很開心，可惜風平浪靜，沒有上回有大浪沖上岸那麼好玩。ViVi也是玩得不要走。

19-mth

ViVi is 19-month!

Mommy almost forget about this, ya, mommy has a lot of thiny in mind... anyway, looking at ViVi and her progress, mommy is more that happy.

Now, ViVi is able to say more words, she always mumbling to us but nobody know what she trying to say.

She likes singging & dancing, she will sing her own "song" when her has the mood.

Steamboat Lunch

Last month we had a family lunch at home, it was ViVi's 1st steamboat meal too...

Anyway, she only have some meatball and noodles. The most excited part for ViVi was "playing" with spoon and non-cook noodles :)

But is was fun and relax to eat together.

18-month

Time flies... ViVi is 18-month old.

She is learning to talk and always mumble some words/sentences that we are not able to understand at all.

The BIGGEST development is -- She is able to climb until the top of the grill!!!

And she learnt a new trick as well -- swinging at the bed side holding the upper level of double decker...!!!

Oh my active baby girl, really can't get my eyes off her, even for a second.

ViVi's new hairstyle

Mommy trimmed ViVi's hair last month since her eyes is covered by hair. So, mommy with her half-pail-skill started to cut her hair.

Even though it was a "small project", mommy spent quite some time to complete the task.

Home again!

ViVi is home!

After staying with Aunty Leng Leng in Kuala Sepetang for 5 days, my baby is back to my side.

Hopefully I will figure out a solution soon, so my baby don't have to be send far away from mee.

It is lucky that ViVi adapts to environment very well, I think she is an independent baby! :p

Now ViVi is back to KL staying with granny again, I can see her everyday.

第一次踏浪

貝比很久沒有回鄉了，終於在8月份回檳城探望公公、婆婆。

我們在傍晚帶貝比去海邊，讓她吹吹海風、踏踏浪。記得貝比第一次到海邊是在滿週歲、適逢農曆新年期間，可是她完全不敢赤腳站在沙灘上，緊抱著爸爸不放。

剛到海邊，貝比就有一點遲疑，我們首先讓她在沙灘上走動，然後才慢僈走近海。貝比很快就熟悉了海邊的環境，而且很開心的逐浪，讓海浪沖在腳上，簡直是樂而忘返。

貝比送到太平十八丁新村第3天了。

前兩天打電話給大姐，貝比也會搶著拿電話，但只是靜靜聽我說話而已，可是今天打電話過去時，她竟然大聲地嘰哩呱啦的說了一通。

貝比是在責怪媽媽將她發配邊疆嗎？

17-month

ViVi is 17-month today!

My little angel is a big baby now, she learnt and shows off her new skill to us every single day.

To date, she is 10kgs (or more), about 80cm tall. She has 9 teeth, likes to eat everything except vege and fish... She loves climb up staircase and she runs very fast.

She likes to shake her head and said “mai mai mai” (NO in Hokkien), when you asked her something like “Wanna eat this or not?” -- even she wants it! But now she knows when to nod.

But too bad that she is addicted to CNY music video! She falls in love with a particular music video recently, she is so addicted until the 1st thing when she wake up, she will makes sounds of “tum tum jiak” and straight away goes to push the buttons of TV & DVD.

To my surprise, she managed to switch on both machines successfully -- one time – then quickly go on the couch to watch the video.

My dear angel, everyday is a brand new day!

忙．盲．忘

貝比成長了。每一天都有新花樣。

每一次媽媽都想記下來，可是，花樣太多，媽媽的時間太少，沒有辦法把所有都記錄在案。

忙工作，忙生活；

盲目的忙，忙得忘了。

媽媽想所有時間都陪伴貝比，可是又得工作賺錢，沒有法子放掉工作。

希望，媽媽每一天都可以抱抱小貝比，就是幸福。

ViVi 1st Trip... :p

ViVi had her 1st holiday trip last weekends, hubby & mee decided to go for a short trip 2 days before the weekends.

It was mommy’s favorite place and ViVi loves it too… but the most favorite part of the trip for ViVi was – “staircase climbing”!

Oh, forgot to tell you, ViVi went to Cameron Highlands!











說是第1次旅行，應該沒錯吧！？

雖然貝比在我懷裡2個月時，就曾舟車勞頓從吉隆坡北上吉打。途中還到北海吃海鮮，回程又到檳城吃榴槤。

在貝比出世前後，也曾多次回檳城婆家，但不算旅行吧！？只能算是回鄉探親。

原本早前要帶貝比到海島，考慮了各種因素，但還是打消了念頭。

這次到了金馬崙高原度假，旅程雖短卻不會緊湊，因為我們就只帶了貝比到蝴蝶公園、茶園、逛夜市，輕輕鬆鬆地享受假日。

結果呀，貝比還是最愛走梯級，可以為了走梯級而樂此不疲，流連忘返！

過敏

貝比病好了！

貝比斷斷續續病了約兩週，發燒、咳嗽了好多天。第一次看醫生，由於熱度太高，醫生為她放了肛門塞劑退燒，結果哭得哇哇叫。（當然，貝比沒有1分鐘就轉移注意力了。）

兩天後，貝比的發燒好了後，咳嗽依然沒有完全復完，而且還流鼻涕。

當我才鬆了一口氣時，貝比半夜突然又發高燒。結果第二天趕緊帶她去看另一個兒科醫生。

醫生說，貝比的氣管敏感，容易咳嗽有痰，不能夠著凉。

幸好折騰了幾天，貝比終於病好了！

禍不單行

上週六帶貝比出門吃飯，一頓飯下來蠻累人的，因為我的好動豬到處趴趴走。在晚餐就快要結束時，她的右臉頰撞上了桌子。

那是木製的桌子，而且蓋上玻璃片。貝比的臉當場紅了一片，瘀青了一块。幸虧桌面上的玻璃沒有缺口，否則就見紅了！

第二天下午，貝比在家嬉戲時，前額碰撞到地面！碰！啊呀，右額起了一個大包！

可憐的貝比，媽媽好心痛呀！

16-month

This is an out dated post... :p

ViVi is 16 months old last Sunday. But These 2 weeks i was busy and without internet access since I overnight at my mom's house.

Here's some words she learnt:
- bag bag
- book book (yes, she will repeat the word twice)
- Bus
- booum~ booum~ (car/ motorcycle)



Other thing came to her interest is, watching CHINESE NEW YEAR music video!

She will try to switch on the TV every morning after she is awake... and making sounds like "tum tum jiak" ... which is similar to the must-have drum tempo in all CNY music.

One of ViVi's favorite activities is walking up & down on escalator.

So, papa will be busy when we visit shopping mall... :)

寵．愛

我的貝比「目前」「看來」「有點」「像是」只小蠻豬，照現今的情況看來，她還滿有性格的，有一點點硬脾氣，有一點點愛霸／搶玩具。其實，嬰孩的性格是慢慢塑造中，日後長成什麼樣子還不一定。

我想，搶玩具是小孩的天性吧！？在我看來，貝比表現出來的是她的積極爭取。哈哈。現代社會的競爭日益激烈，主動爭取是必須的生存本能。

媽媽說，如果太寵她，以後會變本加厲。（我沒有寵她呀！如果貝比頑皮都會打掌心。）

其實孩子會長成什麼樣子，根本不到我們決定。雖然我們作為父母的有「影響」能力，但卻沒有「改變」能力。

父母只可以作正面的引導，卻不可能改變小孩的本質。

所以，我愛貝比。愛她卻不要寵壞她 ── 是有點難度。

一趾神功

貝比前天突發奇想，用腳趾頭開電視。

可惜我沒看見，也沒有拍下「證據」，單單聽媽媽形容都覺得不可思議，而且很好笑。

那是下午時間，貝比原本站在茶几前翻書，翻報紙，嘰嘰咕咕地說些嬰兒話。突然，媽媽發現她靜靜地不作聲，就注意她的動靜。

只見她雙手壓著茶几，小腳抬得老高，呈90°的狀態，用大腳趾按電視機的開關鍵 ─ 她在用腳開電視！

電視開了沒有幾秒鐘，貝比再用腳趾頭把電視關上了。哈哈哈。實在太刁鑽了吧！

貝比學會的單字

貝比常常會用她的語言，講一些我們聽不懂的話。最近有進展了，她的baby話很清晰了。

除了「爸」、「媽」，貝比會講：

小貝比的成長過程，帶給我很多快樂。

不管有什麼傷心難過事，貝比的笑聲，可以治療一切。

15-month

1st kiss from ViVi

上週六與貝比倆在家，我抱著她親了親她的臉頰。

「噗啵！」我誇張地在貝比臉上反覆親親，貝比則開心地發出「 卡卡卡」 的笑聲。

我告訴貝比，這樣是「j-i-u-m」（"親親"的建話，還是福建式的馬來話 cium!?）哈哈哈，這都不是重點。

星期天，我叫貝比「j-i-u-m媽媽」，她竟然會嘟起小嘴，用力「啵」了我的臉一下。嘩哈哈，我的貝比會親親了！

同一天晚上，我帶她回娘家，當叫她「j-i-u-m」外婆、二舅時，她就很開心的笑著「啵」了 兩人的臉頰。

可是，貝比的吻是很珍貴的哩，不是每次叫「j-i-u-m」都會成功，要看小姐的心情如何囉！

Chicken Pox

Baby ViVi has a chicken pox injection today... oouchhh... is painful... she cried for a second, then stop!!

Haha, ViVi was distracted by a red colour air-cond button... good baby!

"ma ma"

上個週六，我和貝比倆在家。

她突然用很純正的中文叫我： 「媽媽」。

之後就一直這樣叫我，感覺很開心。

可是第二天，貝比卻又「爸」「媽」不分了，對著我叫「爸爸」，看著父親叫「媽媽」。是不是故意的呢？哈哈，真搞不懂。

養兒100歲 長憂99

常言道，養兒100歲 長憂99。

意即父母永遠都會為子女操心，就算孩子100歲了，還是有99年是在擔憂中度過。

我開始了解。從貝比出生之前開始，就有一連串的憂慮。

每次一想到孩子長大後不聽話，心裡就會有一陣酸楚。

現代父母不易為，資訊發達、先進科技，其實是家長的一大挑戰。太多的資訊管道，讓當代的孩子都比從前早熟。

我要好好學習才行。

14-month

ViVi is a 14-month baby today!


She likes to sing, bouncing up & down, reading books, watching advertisements especially beauty products & foods, and last but not least -- play with her little cousin sister!

貝比模仿秀

貝比最近很會模仿，而且模仿的對像不是大人，而是電視廣告或影片。

首先，看到電視新聞播放體育新聞，當看到足球新聞時，她會舉起腳說「踢！」

第2，看到美容用品廣告如洗臉霜、護膚乳，常有美女洗臉啦、撫摸臉頰的動作，她也會做摸臉的動作。

最搞笑的是第3項，最近有一個聚集眾體壇明星的男子刮鬍刀廣告，我的貝比也會學著用手從臉頰向下往頸項「刮」。

貝比還學會了韓劇女主角的「雙手托腮」動作，每次在片頭及片尾出現女主角托腮的鏡頭，她就會照做。哈哈，貝比每天都帶給我們新驚喜。

我是小小清潔工

ViVi昨晚突發奇想，拿了一條小手帕，在房間裡作「清潔」。

她手拿手帕在房間裡團團轉，一時抹衣櫥，一時抹床架，連地板也抹了！:p

可是奇就奇在她在抹擦之前，還會拿手帕抹自己的嘴巴！

1st Step

ViVi is walking!

Yesterday, she just made a few steps, but Today, she can walked about 3 feets far... :o

Is amazing to see my baby making her 1st step... everyday is another day.



如果依據農曆，ViVi還差兩天就滿14個月了，看著她小心翼翼的慢慢走到我跟前，內心很感動、感恩！

唯一的遺憾是我爸沒有機會讓她叫「阿公」，她沒有機會讓外公抱抱。T_T

Singing Baby

My baby ViVi loves singing & dancing…she will hum a song when the radio or TV plays songs that she likes.

It is so much fun when see her “singing” with full attention. When it is a dynamic & quick tempo song, she will clap & shake her body!

So cute!

貝比學步了！

貝比已經13個月大了，慢慢開始學步行了，昨天還跨出了2步，就撲到我懷裡。

現在，貝比可以自己站起來，當大家鼓掌稱贊她時，還會拍手、左右搖擺身體。... 過後就倒坐下來。:)

我想，她很快就會自己走動了。

看，貝比表演她的攀爬技術！

站也站不穩的小貝比，卻可以爬上鐵花，而且可以去到第3格的位置哦！^o^

MMR

ViVi今天去打針，本來是27/2就該去打，可是她那時傷風咳嗽，就延至今天才去診所。

今天打的是防麻、腮腺炎及德國麻疹針，當醫生動手後，她就哭了起來，真可憐！

再過3個月，還要再打防水痘針。又過3個月，再打防腦膜、 小兒麻痺症。

貝比在長大到12歲之前，至少要打15支預防針！

p/s: ViVi體重是9.8kg。

被病菌纏上了！

貝比前天開始有幾聲咳嗽，昨晚就一點傷風症狀，還輕微發燒了。

今天早上帶她看了醫生，竟然要吃4種藥水！真可憐！

希望貝比快快好起來！

我傷風了。前晚都睡不好。

外婆說，二舅的傷風菌到處飛，我就中招了。

幸好沒什麼，我會很快好起來。鼻子塞塞的，很難入睡哩。

不穿鞋的貝比

貝比滿一週歲了。

根據華人傳統，嬰孩滿週歲才可以穿鞋，一般小孩都會很喜歡穿小鞋子，尤其是那些會發出聲響的嬰兒鞋。

可是我的貝比呀，她竟然十分抗拒穿鞋子。為她穿鞋時，她就開始哭鬧，甚至把鞋子扔掉。
好奇怪哩！

後記：經過5天的「努力」及嘗試，貝比終於肯穿鞋了，雖然還是不太喜歡，至少不哭了！ :)

ViVi's 1st Lunar Birthday

戊子年 正月初五

Today is ViVi's 1st lunar birthday, we had a simple celebration for her yesterday.

ViVi learnt to crawl when she was just 3 months old, standing up when she is 8 months old, and sitting without support around 10 months old.

All of us are expecting her 1st step by her 1st birthday but she didn't. Eventhough she has strong legs, she can climb up to the grill and stairs, but she still not walking.

I wonder why!?

baby ViVi is turning 11 months today... time flies... she will be 1 year old after Chinese New Year.

On the other hand, she is 1 year old on the 5th day of Chinese New Year according to lunar calendar.

Can't wait to see her walking towards me... but she is still learning :)

新年新願望

我的新年願望 - - 做更好的媽媽。

每天都在和貝比一同學習，一同成長，希望2008年的我，會是一個更好的媽媽。

BLOOD!

Baby ViVi had a minor accident last Saturday, when we went back to Penang to visit her grand parents.

She felt down from an 8 inches height mattress that placed on the floor. Don’t under estimate those 8 inches, she hit the cement floor and blood came out from her mouth.

It was a terrifying experience when I saw blood came out from ViVi’s mouth, and don’t know which part exactly is hurt.

Maybe caused by a bad beginning, that trip was not so enjoyable after all :(
