ViVi is 33 months old.


From a 3.2kg baby, she is now a 13kg little girl.

三字經

貝比最近很愛讀《三字經》，每次回家都會纏著爸爸或媽媽讀經，如果媽媽不理她，貝比也會自己拿著書來讀，嘰哩咕嚕地讀到似模似樣。

上週，媽媽發現貝比會背頌只中一章了。說是背頌，是因為她根本不識字，只是隨手亂指書上的字體，嘴裡唸的是不一樣的字。

看來媽媽得用心教貝比唸書了，不能夠敷衍了事了。

唱首歌兒 (32-month)

滿32個月後，貝比突然對很多歌曲都朗朗上口，而且會唱的歌也越來越多。原本只會零零星星唱兩句的歌詞，現在全都會了。

她常常會唱的歌有「客人來」、「小老鼠」、「懶惰貓」、「小豬」、「妹妹背著洋娃娃」、「自己跌倒自己爬」等等。

最可愛的是貝比還會假扮「小貝比」唱歌，捏尖喉嚨唱歌。再不然就扮小貝比要媽媽抱和喂她喝水。

時光匆匆，小貝比長大了。

31-month

ViVi spent her Hari Raya holiday in Penang with grandparents, while Mommy finally satisfied her appetite with Char Tang Hun, Cendol, Char Koey Tiaw, prawn mee... etc.

Mommy & daddy also brought ViVi to play at the beach and ViVi was so excited until refused to go home.

The only problem of bringing ViVi on a trip is -- Mommy needs to make sure her dresses/skirts are adequate throughout the journey!

Nowadays, ViVi loves to wear dress or skirt; she wants to wear it everyday! That’s the power to television; she was influence by those children education video or music video, where all the girls are normally wearing long dress or skirt! 

觀察力強的貝比

昨天晚上回到媽媽家，才走到門口，我的貝比就用好奇的眼光看著我，問：媽咪戴什麼眼鏡？

貝比竟然不需一分鐘的時間，就發現媽咪換了一幅新眼鏡！

可是呢，貝比卻吵著要戴媽咪的新眼鏡，吵吵鬧鬧，還哭了一輪。

最近一個月裡，貝比成了愛哭貓，只要有什麼不順心的事情，一點點小事就會觸動她的淚腺。

30-month

ViVi is turning 30~months today.

Mommy is fully relief as ViVi is recovered from fever, especially in this A(H1N1) influenza outbreak season. I think most of the parents will be paranoid and extra worry if their children fall sick.

On Wednesday, ViVi told granny that she has "headache", when granny touched her forehead and found out that she is slightly fever.

Due to the influenza thingy, granny also got worried and brought her to see doctor immediately. The doctor said ViVi is a bit feverish and her throat is reddish.

After 1 day on medicine, the fever is worsening! Granny brought her to visit the clinic again but doctor said it was alright, just advised us to continue the medicine given on the other day.

During these days, ViVi does not show any negative sign, she is still active, articulate and cheeky. Anyway, Mommy and daddy were extremely worried and planned to bring her to visit another clinic for assurance.

Luckily, ViVi is recovering on the next day, fever is gone! But unfortunately, the fever comes back on Friday night! Oh God! What is going on!?

Today, ViVi is turning 30 months old, and mommy wishes ViVi a bounty of health!

Black Wednesday

ViVi is growing another month older today. Unfortunately, she stepped on a piece of puzzle, off balance and knocked her forehead on the wooden sofa!

Another sad thig happened was her uncle was punched by some moron and his left eye was injured badly.

Today is black Wednesday to mommy, ViVi and big uncle...

Is 27-month

Mommy is trying to record ViVi's progress here as often as possible, but time is not allow it... yes, this is all excuses :)

ViVi is growing up to a little girl now and she is able to sing a few songs! Too bad, mommy didn't have chance to record it with camcorder.

Maybe mommy should carry the camera everyday, so the chances to catch the moment is bigger!

Nowadays, ViVi likes to play "masak-masak" and "role-playing". She will cook & serve in plate, then asked mommy to eat it. The recent role-play she learnt is to be a docter, she will gives mommy an injection and medicine to drink!

Mommy bought ViVi a new doll, her name is Mellchan.

She is so cute and i think mommy likes her alot too... hopefully mommy will buy me more toys!

I will love her and care for her.

ViVi's concert

Mommy recorded baby ViVi's singing performance yesterday, she loves to sing in front of the mirror with her own moves and style.

The best part is, she hold a props as microphone and shakes her body like a pro.

Stay tune until her last note, it is quite lengthy but truely hilarious :p

ViVi’s No. 1

Baby ViVi learnt to write numbers!

She can write # 1 for now and this is her works!

It is adorable to see my baby does her “writing” or “drawing” full of concentration. She will writes on piece of paper or anything comes handy.

She will also hold a book and “sing” her own lines as in singing with a song book.

26-month

Baby ViVi is 26 months old.

Mommy did not post any diary recently, mainly because office network is "well protected", mommy can not access unauthorised websites/ blogs/emails etc. By the time mommy goes home, too tired to go online.

Anyway, mommy will try the best to update ViVi's progress here.

Hurt...

My baby knocked her forehead, again!

Last Saturday, when I fed her porridge as lunch, she was running up & down throughout her lunch. When we almost finished, she tripped on her daddy’s feet and fall down!

Baby ViVi’s knocked on the coffee table and bruises on her forehead.

My poor baby…

25-month

Mommy merely forget ViVi turning 25-month today! Time flies and I can not ask for more except good health & happiness for my baby (and my family too).

Looking at her little face, I am bless with ViVi by my side.

走音娃娃

每個小孩都會經過鸚鵡學舌的階段，我的貝比學說話的情況，常常為我們帶來歡笑。


貝比只要聽到我們說什麼，她都會照說一次。當然，她還不會完整的句子，也不可能從頭到尾說一遍，只會說句子中的最後一個或兩個字。

說穿了也不過是小事一宗，可是發生在自己的孩子身上，加上她的可愛表情，常常讓我們忍俊不己。　

前一陣子，貝比會指著米奇老鼠的貼紙，對著外婆／爸爸說：「傻鼠」。外婆就學得莫名其妙，怎麼「米奇老鼠」會變成「傻鼠」呢？

兩個大人都糾正她，說是「老鼠」，可是貝比還是重複成「傻鼠」。結果，只有媽媽（就是我啦！）才知道謎底，我的貝比說的是：「小老鼠」！哈哈哈，猜得到嗎？

上週六，爸爸教她說：Camel，出來的是：Nemo，差太遠了吧！？

自從看過媽媽開冷氣，教她說：Air-cond後，貝比每次睡覺都要「開 ah-con」。

最搞笑的是貝比看到爸爸以腳代手，舉腳按電源開關按鈕，她也要來一腳。可是腳不夠長，怎樣也按不著。

貝比最近常講的單句是：「你很煩啊！」原因是大舅舅常常要應付她的要求，例如吃零食啦、喝果汁啦、抱上抱下啦，結果大舅會說她煩。

我的寶貝是可愛的走音娃娃。

ViVi just can't wait to eat her 2nd birthday cake! (2nd = her 2-year-old birthday & her 2nd cake for birthday...)

Today is baby ViVi 2nd birthday!

Anyway, too bad for ViVi since she has a doctor appointment for INJECTION!

I wish my baby is happy & healthy all the time!

*** ViVi had her injection in the morning about 1030am, it was on her right leg and she did cried awhile at the clinic. Everything is just back to normal when we back to home and ViVi had her afternoon nap. However, she cried for pain on her leg again about 3pm... she cried and sobbing for about 1 hour... :(

My pity baby, she is going to get another injection next month!

刷刷刷

ViVi從上個月開始學刷牙，她很愛刷牙，而且還會學大人刷牙時的舉動，例如漱口和吐痰，真的很搞笑。

看看，還似模似樣吧！

我愛裙裙

最近，確實來說是上週起，ViVi開始愛上穿小裙子。

可能是農曆新年期間都有給她穿裙子，還是她看多了新年音樂錄影帶，看到影片中的小姐姐穿著裙子載歌載舞，她突然會要求穿裙了。

有時她還會模仿小歌手拿扇子跳舞、打鼓。

看，穿了小裙子的ViVi真開心。

我是小淑女哦！

哈哈，差一吋就會曝光啦！這是1歲baby的小裙裙。圖右是1歲左右的 ViVi穿著同樣的小裙子。那時才學會走路不久，走路還搖搖擺擺。

阿姨？Auntie? 姐姐？

貝比在農曆初五滿兩歲了，不得不輕嘆：「時間過得真快！」

隨著貝比日益長大，媽咪開始有一點煩惱。

有什麼好煩呢？還不是教導貝比如何稱呼長輩。 媽咪認為，稱呼長輩是基本的禮貌，過去看到太多「反面教材」，令媽咪更加注重貝比的禮貌，而且從小開始培養了好習慣，將來才不會被冠上「沒有教養、沒有禮貌」的名號。

那麼教導貝比稱呼長輩，又有啥難度呢？眾親戚不外是「姨媽姑姐、叔伯兄弟」，根本就是易如反掌的差事。

對！親戚的稱呼是輕而易舉的事，就接照親屬關係和輩份稱呼好了。

難題，是出在「尊稱」爸爸和媽咪的朋友們。

通常，男士都統稱為Uncle，他們往往會默默接受，不會發出異議。（雖然心裡可能萬般不願意，卻要保持風度而無奈接受。）

至於美女們，就是讓媽咪感到頭痛的一群。媽咪認為叫「姐姐」不恰當、叫阿姨太老氣，那麼叫「阿姨」應該不錯吧！？偏偏還是有反對的聲音。

到底應該怎樣稱呼才最適當！？

或許我應該教貝比新詞彙了，大家都叫「美~ 女~」，行嗎？


p/s：貝比已經會稱呼公婆叔伯、姨舅、哥姐，還懂得分辨膚色，看到友族就會叫atuk、nenek、abang和kakak了。

前兩天，我還發現貝比會聽福建話喲！當外婆以福建話對媽咪說：「薇薇放尿滴褲」，貝比竟然會對外婆說「沒有！」，哈哈哈。

Lunar Birthday

The 5th day of Chinese New Year is ViVi's 2-year old birthday, we had a simple celebration back in Penang.

Here's some snapshots...

23-month

ViVi is 23-month today, yippie!

Nowadays, ViVi is able to communicate well with papa & mommy, she can express herself by her own language. She also likes to pick up the last word in our sentences, such as when mommy said: Go to sleep, she will repeat: Sleep. When mommy asked: Baby wants to eat vitamin? She will say: min.

The sweetest thing is, ViVi will called “Mommyyyyy” and hugs mommy when she knew that mommy is unhappy.

With CNY is just around the corner, ViVi learnt to “sing” a number of Chinese New Year songs & dance along the music. That’s the power of TV programs / music videos.

I believe grandma & grandpa back in Penang will be delighted when see ViVi in action, soon J

ViVi's cousin sister - Olivia is attending primary school in year 2009. One day before the school start, she asked her parents to bring her to grandma's house -- just to play with ViVi.

After she starts going to school, she is no longer staying with grandma... ViVi miss her too...
